As part of the 1in8 Foundation’s baseline commitment
to helping the environment become healthier, we have pledged
to support as many different green technologies as possible.

Not known for being particularly green itself, the motorsports industry
has recently begun to focus more on how to improve, not only the manufacturing of
vehicles themselves, but also the production of many types of aftermarket products, an area of motorsports
that’s growing, despite the noticeable slowing down of new car sales. Even in areas like auto racing, where the
development of alternative technologies was traditionally all but ignored, people are beginning to step up and investigate
better ways to improve the ecological footprint of the sport. Because, in part, we believe that the alarming statistical growth of
breast cancer in younger and younger women is not random, we at the 1in8, have been forced to consider the real possibility that
our environmental problems may be contributing to this situation. Accordingly, we will be looking closely at the companies we align
ourselves with, in a sincere attempt to get them to look at cleaner ways to achieve their goals. We would also like to congratulate companies,
like those below,for taking the lead.
